    Description

Fantastic 3 piece complex botryoidal fossil coral geode from Georgia. It will be a great addition to a fossil, rock, mineral, or curio collection. Five different pockets of thick amber agate formations coated in matte common opal. Cut edges fluoresce brightly under UV black light and can be polished to a glassy shine if so desired. Outside shows the structure of the ancient coral. Photos taken dry. So much to look at! Photos don't do it justice.
    Overall approximate measurements are 8.5" x 5" x 2.5" and weight is 4 lbs.
Georgia fossil coral is approx. 25-45 million years old, is around 7 on the Moh's scale, and is highly prized for jewelry and lapidary work.
I'm out there collecting and cutting these great rocks myself and writing about it at zookeeperfossils on Blogger.  eBay sales help support my rockhounding habit.
Combined shipping is always available and I will refund excess postage through PayPal when needed.
    Thank you!
