Description

Absolutely stunning Electric Blue Topaz Elongated Diamond Checkerboard Oval. Electric blue color is between  london blue and sierra blue on the color chart and is truly the best color blue topaz on the market today. While not as dark as london blue, it does not have the grey tone or slightly greenish color associated with london blue topaz. It is very blue and much more vibrant than london blue. This has also been called electric neon blue. While this gemstone is not as dark as we typically see electric blue topaz, due to the shallow design, the rough was purchased as electric blue and is being sold as such.
Small topaz really doesn't offer much profit, if any, as the cost of rough, time and, materials is more than the final value of the finished gemstone. That being said, you won't see too many of these offered for sale by me.
Topaz is well suited for all jewelry applications.
I have discontinued gemstone auctions as I refuse to receive pennies on the dollar for the effort I put into the faceting. Items will go out as gifts before I'll auction them off. So, if you see something you like, don't wait for a price drop or for it to go to auction. Chances are, if you like it, somebody else will too and may sneak in and buy it out from under your nose.
