    Offered is the book " How to be a Good Foreman " by Charles Reitell, Ph.D, Stevenson, Jordan & Harrison, Management Engineers.  Published by the Ronald Press Company, this is a second printing, December 1937, so stated. The book is a hard cover, measuring 5½ x 8¼ inches with 186 pages. The cookbook is in good gently used condition, the pages are clean and unmarked but have tanned; the cover has wear / stains / fraying at the corners and edges of the spine.
    A neat little book, it's advice rings as true today as it did during the Great Depression. The author explores what he believes are the three elements to being a successful foreman: A mastery of the human elements; a grasp of technical requirements; and a knowledge and use of costs and budgetary controls. An interesting read!
