. The Stanley #85 Cabinet Makers Scraper Planes, 1904 - 1935. Jacob F. Bauders Stepped Floor Board Gauge circa 1840s. Tool Anatomy article. Superb article on the Langdon Mitre Box Company, Northampton. Superb spread on the Sawmakers of Middletown, New York. 48 pages, Like New condition.
These wonderful magazines are filled with essential information about tools of all descriptions, the research, the stories the uses etc. It's also about the people who collect the tools and do the heavy lifting to document the histories of the tools and the people who invented or designed them. Always a fascinating read. I had a complete set of these magazines until recently. These copies currently on eBay are the only ones I have left. They have been extremely popular and rarely made available. They are not sold on the news-stands or by subscription. The only way to obtain them is by becoming a member of the MWTCA after which you receive that years issues as part of your membership fee.
Item will be mailed to the winner in sturdy, well sealed packaging. Shipping is FREE via USPS First Class Mail. Winners outside of the US will pay USPS shipping at actual weight and cost.
Please look at my many other "Buy it Now" items I have listed.
I want you to be happy with your purchase. I try my best to photograph and describe each item to the best of my ability. When defects or flaws are an issue, I try to describe OR photograph those qualities as best I can but please remember that both words and pictures can fall short at times. If that happens for any reason, please work with me to rectify the situation before leaving negative feedback.
Please ask any questions you might have at least 24 hours prior to the auction's end. I'll do my best to answer them in any reasonable way that I can.
I'm first and foremost a woodworker/collector, NOT a dealer. I'm a long time member of the "Mid-West Tool Collectors Association" (MWTCA). If you have an interest in old tools or the histories of the tools and trades that created this great country; please visit the MWTCA website for a fascinating tour of this wonderful Organization.
