This is an adorable electric stove/oven and when we plugged it in, it did heat up. We left it plugged in only briefly so we do not know for certain how hot it will get. Nonetheless, we are selling this with the intent it be used as a decoration or collectible, rather than a child's toy due to the risk of burns. This Little Lady does show some wear and we have tried to disclose that  in the photos--along with the measurements. Please ask if you have further questions. She still looks good for her age!
