  • Condition: Condition:Toy is in good sturdy condition considering its age and history. Only ONE door opens-that's the way it was made.**FLAWS-there are scratches, dents and dings, as can be expected with a toy that has been played with by multiple children over the course of 70 years!!!Some very light rust and tarnish on exterior; however, it must have been able to be filled with water, because there is a metal basin that runs across the back-THIS piece has considerable rust-which is understandable-see last picture. Water may have actually come through facet-but I did not try it.Facet swings back and forth-which may be original or broken-not sure-but you can see this closer in video.Door does not shut completely-this is a FLAW-may just need some tinkering with or just accepting the way it is-slightly ajar. While door does not close-it does feel tight....Interior of toy is pretty clean-only small amount of rust on bottom sink area....

    Sweet toy kitchen sink was well loved and played with by many generations of children!
    I purchased this wonderful piece from a woman who bought it at auction for her own children, back in the 1970s and now that her grandchildren have out-grown it, she wanted to pass it on again!

    The Wolverine Supply and Manufacturing Company, later known as the Wolverine Toy Company, produced children’s toys for nearly seven decades from its factory on the North Side of Pittsburgh.
    These products stayed true to the culture of the era, as Wolverine continually released revamped versions of its signature toys such as its refrigerators, which became available in a wide array of colors reflecting current style trends.
